We want to honor foster impacted families since we know from experience that this is not a job for the faint of heart!
Foster Parents step into the gap for children in need and take on traumas, emotions and every day life when they bring these children into their homes!
Some of the ways we are honoring Foster Families include:
- Respite Babysitting Nights once a month! Starting May 7th! Stay tuned for sign ups!
- Placement bags and additional clothing needs for growing kiddos! Please email us at info@onehope27.org if you are in need of items for your foster littles!
- Birthday gifts – this is a quick grab-n-go event held every month for Foster parents to pick up a gift for their child aged 3-9 years old. We know birthdays are a big deal and they can get very expensive!
- Tickets to events in and around Milwaukee! – stay tuned for sign ups for these FREE tickets! Follow us on Instagram to be the first to find out about these offers!
Foster Families
In the Past
We have served Foster Parents by providing safe spaces and places for them to come together.
Currently
We are providing Foster Families, foster children and social workers with fun events to enjoy with their families and clients to honor and recognize the courageous work they do to shelter children from the traumas they have faced.
In the Future
We will continue to honor brave and kind hearted families as they provide shelter during stormy times for children. One of the new ways we plan to serve foster families is by providing Respite Babysitting Night! We will be hosting these monthly with the goal of loving on children while parents spend a few hours of quality time away from these lovely littles! We will also continue to provide conversation and gift resources for children, foster parents and social workers alike because we know that together we can foster great HOPE for the Foster Community of Milwaukee.
