OneHope27 is equipping the Christian community to impact the Foster care system with the Hope of Christ.
It all started in a meeting room with a group of Foster parents who believe we as Christians could do so much more when it came to Foster care…but why OneHope27, what’s the name all about?
We knew we wanted to represent the spiritual mandate found in James chapter 1 verse 27: Pure religion in the sight of God the Father is caring for Orphans and Widows. It was also important to reflect our belief that The Church is the hope of the Foster care crisis. Churches are full of people who have been changed by the love of Jesus Christ. We are seriously in need of good Foster homes in America where over 400,000 children are in care. Those children and their families are in desperate need of the saving, life changing love of Christ… and so OneHope27 was born.
